    Default Shimano Technium Invistec

    Hello

Having read lots and lots of info about the better monos, i have decided to try out the Shimano Technium line. Both for is abrasion resistance and casting ability.

Seems as though 0.33 would be all a man requires for 90% of their fishing.

Ive read and heard loads of positives about the black stuff - i think named tournament.

But, wonder if anyone has used the Invistec line - and wonder if this is essentially the same as the black technium, but in a clearer colour?

    Any feedback would be appreciated

    Thank you

Not used myself as I'm still on pro clear 16lb but will try the black as comes highly recommended. Have heard the black is much better than the clear for concealment purposes

Also tempted by this, is it worth stepping up to the 15 or would 12 suffice
    Get you some of that!

Have used both. Used the black for many years, tried the Invisitec and went back to the black. I don't like the 2 tone effect of the Invisitec but performance wise both are superb and I wouldn't use anything else.

Have switched from Tiger Line which i've used for 4/5 years recently to 16lb Pro Clear, love how it casts but it can be a pita to sink compared to TL... Used it for about 10 sessions or so but the other day i was up a tree looking down into the water and it stood out like rope! I've just got some Tech Black 0.35mm from Germany via eBay after all the glowing reports so we'll see how that goes this weekend.

Most people said go for the Black over the Invisitec from what i gathered.
Congratulations, you've won first prize in the biggest donut contest.

Ive been using 15lb invisitec for the last two years now . Nice and limp , abrasion resistant , sinks well and casts really well also . I for one love the colour .

How does the black blend in? In my head it would stand out a mile.

Was there anymore feedback on the line as I need to change my mainline for a trip to France in a couple of weeks and still unsure what to use?
