    What is stocked there?

    Joe Public is not likely to ever get to fish this lake as it is alongside the prestigeous Bearwood Lakes Golf Course. I believe the Spinners are generally pike\course anglers.
    As mentioned lots of pike & very weedy. A couple of lucky Bearwood ex-employees did have the privilege of fishing this lake occasionally over the years (ssssh), but they no longer work there. There a FEW carp in there, one known or reported 'biggie'.

    Lovely lake.

    It still has good tench and pike fishing I understand. Mostly boat fishing.

    Several friends of mine have been Red Spinners members. They used to have the fishing on the legendary Cheshunt reservoir (now filled in for houses). It held some very big eels.....
