      Default Free Spirit X\'sive\'s

Thinking about getting a set for long range work/bags. I know that they are supposed to be powerfull rods but any recomendations or advice would be very much appreciated. (Oh and I'm not interested in any other rods etc...........)

      Cheers

Have the XS's and they are great rods, I would think the XS'ives would fit the bill perfectly, there's even some for sale http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/show...ge=0#1761923342

Mates goe the xs ives and swears by em. I've got hi's and wouldnt part with em. Best bet is see if someone with em will let you have a little play.Differant rods suit differant people.

IM NOT TALKING ABOUT XS'S! have had a set! Thanks anyway Ian but they are Nothing like X's apart from the visual's

Just a bit worried about the X'sives, been told that the Fast Taper makes them real Monsters

I have a set of hi s 3.5s and like i'm looking for something a bit more pokey for range fishing and chucking the odd bag.

i looked at the xs'ives which seem to be just what i'm looking for, they are a lot stiffer in the butt than my HI S's and the ES range but nowhere near as pokey as the HI S 200's

all ive got to do now is save up
