Just been reading up on this terrible disease and what it can do to you, didn't realise that Redgraves rowing partner died after contracting it when he fell into the water on a rowing event. Now were all making the most of the summer weather and getting out on the bank please take with you the antibacterial wipes and cover cuts etc and don't leave rubbish and food items where rats can get to them. Worth reading up on the symptoms and prevention. Had a couple of mates catch it and they were very ill until the diagnosis, it can be treated by antibiotics but in some cases can really give you a belt when recovered with depression, pain etc etc for quite some time. Be careful out there.
