    Default Floaters

Been out of the loop for floater fishing baits for a while now

Are there still any decent dog and cat biscuits that can be used for floater fishing?

    Cheers

They changed years ago and aren’t as good now

I was thinking more along the mixed size / shape cat biscuits that can be used

The Chum recipe changed years back. I've only done a little floater work, but have found the Tesco own brand cheapo biscuits to be good, especially doused in plenty of oil and a little groundbait and GLM powder. I then add whatever cheap cat biscuits I can find, and floating trout pellets if I'm feeling lavish. The coshida cat biscuits from Lidl are one I've used recently.
I also usually take a few loaves of cheap white bread to district the bird life, and for using as hookbait.

Chum mixers still work as do most of the brands.
Go Cat & Brekkies are what I used to use, I used the liver Brekkies in a birdseed bait way back when.
As said a splash of oil and away you go.
