    Default Lightweight breathable waders

    Hi all,

Looking for some lightweight waders (chest or thigh) that you cn actually walk around a lake in and sit around in without cooking / sweating and being generally miserable.

    Thank you

Try the Fly fishing market. My wife won a pair on Scierra chesties in a raffle and they are amazing - when we go grayling fishing she wears them over several layers of clothing and has no issues with sweating. Frankly, I'm bloody jealous, as I can't afford a pair of my own!

The scierra ones are nice but they stopped making the ones i looked at lol
Its ok if i want to spend a couple of 100 on a pair but why should it cost more for waist compared to chest lol

Have you looked at the Diawa breathable chest waders? Not cheap at over 100 but cheaper than the scierra.

Checkout https://sites.google.com/site/wadersrepairs/ Diver Dave gets warranty return breathable waders in, repairs and fully tests them and then sells them on cheaper than new.

Also Bison breathable stocking foots are cheap and supposed to be ok. Combine them with a cheap, oversized pair of work/walking boots from screwfix/toolstation/sports direct and you'll be reet.

Got a pair of scieera cc3 ones had them for almost 7 years now, really light and breathable great waders worth the money, don’t think I will ever buy a pair of rubber/neoprene ones again.

Have a look on this website give him a call he repairs and sells waders for a living,I’m sure he has some scieera breathable boot foot ones for sale at the moment.

Diver Dave wader repairs. (Google that)
