Thanks for that recommendation - he's either going to repair it,customise a pair if I can get another one touch handle from somewhere, Customise a newer handles OR make me a new pair of customs! He's a real nice guy who actually tried saving me money in the first instance BUT all his fees go to charity. The fact that he took the time during a 45 minute call to send me various links and pictures while explaining my options is enough, the fact that my costs go to charity is a bonus!

He did some wooden handles for me a while back as I only like local to him and I was there up in his shed chatting for about 2 hours while he did them (They didn't take that long). He's got time for everyone mate

Custom reels are the best at what he does imo. Proper bearings in the handle instead of just a push fit knob on the existing spindle. But it’s expensive.
