I was tempted until I saw Angling Direct had a 15% off black Friday deal on so popped into them on my way home as I pass them anyway and got one for 127.

Didn't think prices were that great I am afraid. Boxes of gas going for 3 more then I get them at my local shop and saw a few other items I have bought recently at over inflated prices. I generally only go for the talks now and the odd book. Picked up Laneys new one and so far its a great read.

I just don't get carp shows apart from all the luvies getting together. Funnily enough, I'd rather be fishing and I usually am.

So then there’d be no reason to comment on the thread then?

Possibly but I like to think a conversation is free flowing with tangents being an option. Just a man of little consequence having his opinion. Not trying to offend you.

Good to see you there Lyndon.

I dont normally go to the carp shows but I went to Sandown for the first time. The deals where not as goos as the big one earlier in the year. That said I got a good dsicount on a new set of rods and got another pack of gas cannisters at a good price as well. I also managed to catch up with a few people I haven't seen for a while, so well worth the trip for me.
