    Default Tapered mainlines

Has anybody had any experience using these? Any recommendations?

Also looking for info about these after getting a jap reel loaded with a multi coloured one i am struggling to find a 100% clear line.

i'm guessing they are tricky to load up most are 250M long and daul taper if you crack off. i have also read they cut the thick end back to suit.

Any demon casters out there using them for distance??

I’ve used the Fox Exocet 40lb to 15lb tapered line. Easy enough to load up on any big pit reel - put the line into and empty spool, then follow that with backing up to the lip of the spool, then wind the whole lot off of that spool onto an an empty one.
    Job done.

Did you find the Exocet sunk ok? I've never had much luck with fox lines.

I found the Exocet to be well behaved on the spool but not the best at sinking.
But then again I don’t always want the line to sink like a brick, especially when it’s super weedy etc.
Some tungsten tubing and a couple of big blobs of putty at the business end and I’m happy
