    Thanks jslinn and thanks carphooker you may be right! Although I worry about sharpening up leading to more chance of dinking the hookpoint on rocks and crays etc. ��

    Funny You say that olly, but I've got hold of some owner gorilla light sea hooks in 3/0 and they are pretty impressive

    Yeah catfish pro will have what you need. And you WON'T find a stronger hook on the market

    I have some small(??) Eagle Wave hooks in 1, 2, 4 & 6, which I think could be suitable for big other fish! I compared the 'heavy' carp hooks and as said above horrendously strong!

    I have never has one let me down after changing to them from light sea hooks, Cox & Rawle Uptide Extras, which bent out or snapped on smallish cats.
