    Default Sinking Braid Choices Please

    Good afternoon all,

I am looking into spooling with sinking braid on my spare spools. Do you think it really helps with savage weed or would sticking to an old faithful like GR60 be a good idea?

I need something that sinks like a stone but has some serious pulling power. I think Fluoro is not an option.

The only sinking braids I know of is the Korda Sub Braid, but there may be more out there?

Any would help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Ryan

    fox submerge another option
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Korda Sub Briad is good but loses its colour very quickly.

I've used Gardner Hydrosink a bit, and it seems spot on. Not really used it in heavy weed, but it sinks well and seems robust.

Thanks mate, the Gardner Hydro seems like the best choice and reasonably priced compared to many

You must have the lucky spool as even the Korda lads I know are changing it monthly to retain the colour.
