I got 3 delivered from Serbia. They hold less then a large spomb but retrieve better

I got one too and looks promising, prefer the capacity over the large Spomb and the way it is filled is much better. Yet to cast one so will have to see how they go

Used one for a while now. Holds. Out the same as a midi spomb, easier to fill. Same amount in each fill too.. all the weight at the front. Casts much better. Easier to get distance, no wobble in flight, more accurate. Doesn't retrieve quite aswell but not far off. Was unconvinced the start but after using it for a week in France and a few trips to linear since I'm completely converted. Added bonus now is it floats. You have to use the float spomb now at linear in the rules which ruins the distance on them.

I always take the wire out my spomb and slide the spomb float on. That way it's on but inside. Doesn't really alter the load either

Ye I did start messing about with that before I got hold of the dot. It's so much easier to cast at range for me that I gave up on the spomb.

The dot is a sliding side opening door. That is kept closed by sliding down. It opens when it slides up ie hits water. And because the door had a hole in the top where it connects the water goes through easy on the retrieve meaning no drag so easy to wind back in

They don't need to land on the nose to open either. You can tap it anywhere and it'll spring open.
