Mate don't read it if you don't like it, it wasn't meant to be constructive

No, some of the Korda stuff is innovative.

I don't get why people. Say it's over priced. Check out the prices of a jetboil. Or a Coleman. Or a primus easyfuel. All around the same price. It does seem it's fashionable to just moan. Had problems with ridgemonkey I take it......

I think it looks pretty good myself, and would love to hear some feedback from someone who has one

They missed a trick with the stove, not having a pre heat coil.

I think they're probably overpriced too when you can get a T4 for 23 quid tbh.
I can't see how the RM can justify its price. It's not super quick or efficient like a Jetboil, it's not engineered like a Coleman, it's just a cheap little gas stove as far as I can tell.
I'm not slagging it, I've not used one, they may be awesome, but there's no way I'm spending 50 quid + on a little gas stove.
We all know we'll see hundreds on the bank so we'll soon find out of they're any good or not. That said, even if it performs perfectly I'd still stick to the T4 which does the same for 23 quid.

i have a few of their products, the power pack has been great, lasts ages. The throwing stick, not so great, the ridges inside it make so much noise. The toasters are brilliant. Not got the head torch, but it looks hideous and pricey. But the stove does look the part, the square shape will be great for the toasters, but 55 seems a little excessive, when my current stove dies, i might look at getting one, if the feedback on the bank is good.

I think it's quite impressive how they managed to make a carbon stick that's heavier than a plastic one lol....

Exactly the reason I would never own the ridgemonkey stick. I like most of the other products but this is appalling. So top heavy

The Power Pack must have carp tax stuck on it, I doubt that Ridge monkey actually make anything that's worth owning, I don't have a single item. Ok I have a Devil and think occasionally square could save on waste but hang on other than that the company has to my mind nothing else to offer. better off going to a company that have the know how such as Anker.

Do you work for Ridge Monkey or have some connection to them by any chance ?

as I cant think of another reason why you are defending an over priced stove with such poor features and obvious shortcomings ? ( lack of pre heater pipe ) as others have pointed out its MORE THAN DOUBLE the price of a Bulin T4 that will work perfect in all weathers

((I do own some Ridge Monkey products and happy with them))
Jesus loves you" is a nice gesture in church - but a terrible thing to hear in a Mexican prison

I'm not defending there products at all, I just think the slagging off of the product just because of the price tag is a little bit unfair, fair enough if you had the product and used it and it was no good, but this was not the case at all it's just bitching for the sake of it.
There's nothing good or constructive to be gained from that is there?
