    Default Maggot decomposition

    Got into a conversation with a friend of mine who breeds some of the finest maggots (for bait) last week and we got onto the topic of decomposition. Out of curiosity, how long would one think it might take a kilo of maggots to eat all the flesh off of a small mammal?
