    Default Any spider experts on here. What kind of spider is this please?

    Found it on the bedroom wall and cant find it on the net anywhere.

    Just checked my Collins British wildlife book and it looks like its a Dysdera Crocata dont know the common name for it but its fairly common and its large fangs are used to deal with woodlice, hope this helps. Teekay

    A quick Google search reveals that strangely enough its common name is a Woodlouse spider! Teekay

    Or an Oonopids domesticus - an indoors spider.

    Excellent cheers fellas, i did notice it had rather large fangs. Ive never seen anything like it before.

    I saw something like that in my bivvie last weekend, it looked like it had two small its sticking out front that it was tapping against the floor, almost drumming.
