I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Bought a couple of pots and had to send them back. They are so soft and mis shaped absolutely shocking.

    Please don't waste your money.

They are awfully rolled to be fair. But a bait that isn't perfectly round doesn't bother me. They are very good baits though and work well. Very buoyant for the size as well. They can be cut down which is a nice edge

I used the s1 and s2 when they came out and honestly never caught a fish on one. Despite being quite persistent with them.

I only ever caught on them when I fished them over my food bait. The food bait has never let me down in 2 years. I caught just as many fishing a cork ball food bait pop up over the top. I don't get all this "oh it was the hook bait that is so good" when it's fished over a bed of quality bait.
It's the main feed bait that catches them. NOT an expensive hyped up hook bait.

Why people feel the need to spend loads of money on "hookbaits" to fish along side there perfectly good free offerings is beyond me...

It's really not that difficult to work out. Free offering are bottom baits the hook bait is a pop up. It's down to confidence if People prefer to us a pop up that is supposedly of high quality they feel it will match or better still stand out as being better than the rest of the wonderfully attractive bait that's there.

But really I'd prefer to fish my bottom baits along with any free offerings if I can other wise I tend to fish with single baits.

They are compared to a couple of baits from your food bait that you are using as your free offering.
Are you gonna bark all day little doggy, or are you gonna bite?

Are you sure your northern??!! that's double the cost of the best pop ups on the market (pjpu's)
When I first posted "loads of money" I thought they were about a tenner, now I'm just thinking I must move up north as times are obviously good up there..

The carp fishing is crap up here but i would never swap living up north for living down south in a million years.

I also went back to pjpu's and started catching straight away again. I think i had a pjpu fetish as i had far to many pots. I sold them all recently though as ive gave up carp fishing for good and went back to my river fishing.

Done really well on the s2 and f1 pop ups as well as the s2 barrel bottom baits.
