So if you were only going to allowed to use three rigs for your carp fishing for ever more what three rigs would they be and why ? Please consider that they would have to cover all eventualities and lake bed presentation.

Ronnie would be one for me tbh.. never been 100% happy with any pop up presentation but it ticks all the boxes for me. Had caught me a shed load of fish too.. using a krank x

KD type rig with a snow man or wafter. Coating intact hair stripped, krank x again.

Claw type rig with hair exiting near the point for heavy bottom baits.. krank x again.

I know you said 3 but I do like to use chods occasionally. When there isn't any clear areas..

    75% is a Ronnie, 20% kd the other 5% the other 2

Knotless knot mono rig, because its such a good bottom bait rig that never tangles, and as such can be fished at any length as a hooklink. (6-18" for me)
Short supple braid rig (3-6" for me) (usually just knotless knotted), best solid bag rig, catches out cagey feeding fish when mono isn't converting pick ups.
Chod rig, if the weeds thick and high, or the silts deep, you're fishing a functioning rig. Also a good winter rig I've noticed.
