    Default Boom sections

Paying around with rigs today on the hinge rig and wonderd what best type of boom is, some times fish it on a naked heli and some times leadcore heli systems,

Is it better to fish a stiffer or softer boom on thia rig? And what materies work best?

Personally I would say is dependant on what the bottom make up is. I use a softer material such as Thinking Anglers tungskin if the bottom is softer amd a stiff boom over a harder bottom.
They say that The Queens Dragoon Guards are the worlds most feared cavalry regiment, I tell them that they are right!!

I was thinking using the tungskin as used it for a while on multi riga with great sucess, but fancied a change around and give the hinge rig a good try this year

35Ib TA Tungskin for me, just the right balance of stiffness and ability to curve over bottom debris.
