Default The pop ups are back

Keep having gambling sites popping up when I open links or being redirected to the App Store. Anyone else?

It did work on my iphone until yesterday but now im getting them even with adblock installed. I think its time to delete my account and avoid this site altogether as its not run properly and I dont trust it anymore with all the dodgy pop ups that keep appearing. No one posts on here anymore anyway. Looks like its carpforum from now on.

I wouldn't expect a response either. Ads like this don't appear by accident and have to be the absolute worst way to milk any last revenue from a site that can't generate income from traditional advertising.

All they make people do is use ad blockers or simply go elsewhere....hopefully the fraction of a penny received for each ad impression will be worth it!

I am getting problems with these pop-ups both on my iPad and iMac computer.
The various pop-ups are making the site nearly impossible to use, the worst one I get is a monkey Mac help site.

There is no option to cancel the thing once it's on screen just an OK button to go to whatever scam they are running, the only way to get rid of it is to force quit out of Safari and make sure it doesn't reload the last page when I open Safari again.

Reading the site is ok but as soon as I click on a page to post a message - up comes the pop up.

If I do manage to get this post onto the thread it's because this time round the pop-up is a fake Adobe Flash Player install page and so-far I have managed to cancel the page and get back to this thread.
    I came, I saw, I played conkers.

I'm getting them too, only just saw this thread, they're doing my swede in... Such a shame how it's come to this garbage as over the years I've seen all sorts of help, advice etc offered freely by members, money raised for charity, all sorts of positive things... Looks like those in charge don't give a stuff...

I'd be surprised if Apple didnt offer their own Ad Blocking app, I know they are funny about third party apps but they usually offer their own alternatives dont they? Try searching for one in their app store.
