I got mine last week & I'm glad I did. Not a big publication, 60 odd pages. I believe it started as a project of some sort. Came across it on Instagram.

Decent photography and 3 good interviews within (Gaz Fareham on Subsurface, Anthony Scrace & Chris Lawrence - The founder of Heritage LTD Edition). Got through it in one night, but I'm happy to support anyone who takes the time to create something "unique" in a world full of the same old S..t.
No ads and a quality finish, albeit a few grammar mistakes, but that adds to its project feel.

I think it's been pulled off tastefully & hope it continues to grow.

Same old same old if you ask me...

Anyhow...don't let my view put you off...its my opinion..that's all ( just telling the carp police)

    It's SubMonkey all over again.

Anyone seen the other new mag, Catch Cult?

    I must admit, I am a Fallon's Angler subscriber...

Got to say I was disappointed by it. Not so much a fishing magazine as a arty photo catalogue.

You can't appreciate any of the pics that are spread across double pages because of the spine and it just doesn't look as good on standard non glossy paper. I clicked through it in about 2 mins and doubt I'll pick it up again. Shame.

As a project for Educational purposes, I think it's decent. You can't expect the same content as some of the bigger publications just yet, it has to start somewhere.

Gaz Fareham has clearly helped him start his journey and as word spreads more people will get involved and the content will improve. I personally think it's cool that someone else is having a go. Appreciate that its each to their own, however I'm happy to support.

Pretty sure this was created as a students uni project and wasn't originally meant to be a professional publication by any means. I know for a fact that Gaz and my mate Anthony (who's never done any writing before) contributed for free to help the fella out with some material. I've not had a flick through it yet so can't be 100% sure but I would say he's not making much on it given that only a few hundred were ever printed and it is printed to quite a high standard.

The lad was probably just proud of what he put together and thought he'd share it with everyone. Fair play from me

Well it is an expensive read for what you get. However I think it's a start for the lad and I am happy to part with 8 to give him a chance to produce something a bit more special. I still have the series of free Carpology A5 size mags that were produced in 2004 (I think), before it kicked off to what it is today. Obviously they had more content and advertising so were able to give it away to start it off.
They say that The Queens Dragoon Guards are the worlds most feared cavalry regiment, I tell them that they are right!!
