I stand by my post but hands up, I should not, on reflection, have gone on so much so soon after the tragedy.

And yes, fishing is on the agenda for later today, the rivers are open and beckoning.
    I came, I saw, I played conkers.

No it's because you have just realised that the southwark (Lakanal house) fire that happened in 2009 is a very Labour run council and has been since the 1960's.

The number of political seats will soon be falling from 650 to 600, putting a strain on Labour gaining power in certain constituents.

I think you will find that the reason for all the cuts is because when Labour were in they spunked every single penny that was in the pot and left the country skint
Also the country was on its knees when the Conservatives first took over. Just so you know im not a Conservative supporter either.

Genuine question, did you not hear about the global financial crisis?

Genuine question, have you heard the people who work for the police, fire services and NHS who have come out and said that everything is on the brink because of government cuts?

I've voted Lib Dem, Tory and Labour in my life. Because I choose to vote for who I think might actually run the country better. The way some of you go on it's like you chose them as a football team and now will continue to support them no matter what they do.

There's an argument here that a lot of floating voters who voted Labour did so for selfish reasons. Trying to work out which freebies suited them. The Tories weren't offering much in the way of hand-outs.
I voted Tory. I think long term. Be more like me.

What happened? Did you play your grime records a bit louder than usual and go reaching for that keyboard.

That extreme left rhetoric doesn't resonate with me. You get what you pay for in life, not through hand outs.
Look at the map of England, it's overwhelmingly blue not red !
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.
