    Default 10ft Carp Rod Reviews

Looking at getting some 10ft rods. Had a look at freespirit and the fox horizon. Any reviews on these or alternatives?

Been using 10ft scopes for a while. Fishing my syndicate off the barrow, only setting the brolly up as it gets dark and there are brilliant for this. I'm moving onto fish and chucking the rods out laying them down on the staging. No need to break the rod down to move just collapse the telescopic section and the net handle and it's all the same length as the barrow. Makes moving a doddle.

I had a Free Spirit Bank Creeper (E class) for a while. Nice rod - had my biggest carp on it as well. Sadly I had to sell it (along with all my decent kit) when I was made redundant.

I've not long been using a pair of 10ft 3lb Scope mk2s and fully agree with what others have said about theirs.

Easy to carry, easy to store, nice action and will still bang a rig out a good way. I'd imagine the 3.5lb would be better for bag work, but have no doubts the 3's will still handle it.

I can see these taking over my 12ft for all but ranges over 100 yards.

Ive had a play with the 3.5s and there are seriously pokey! Would make perfect pike boat rods for the likes of chew etc.

Have some e class bank creepers would of loved either the s or hi-s ones but couldn't justify the price. Love them think they're brilliant little rods.

I have to say that I'm not really enjoying using 9ft dwarfs. I only use them on a small runs water but just find them a bit dull and lifeless when playing fish. Maybe it's because they are fairly cheap rods.

Still favour 12ft rods when out proper fishing.
Pink reel seats on your rods?!

After using the scopes, anything else feels like a broom-handle!
