    i hear that a certain person you know had a nice common from pit down road other week......a real golden one too from what i hear...just a rumour like.....along with a bigger one !!!

    a lake near me has done at least 8 40lb commons this year - all unknown fish, all previously uncaught

    Lake down my way has some real lumps in, the purple and pink ones are the biggest, always jumping according to the drunken tramp who lives in a tin hut

    40lb being caught from a nature reserve in or around the Thurrock area.

    A chalk pit doing numerous 30lbs carp to local anglers in the same neck of the woods....just be careful walking it in the night as some banks have what can only be described as cliffs leading to the water.
