Question Your number one top tip!

    Hello fellow anglers!

I would really appreciate a couple of minutes of your time to help me with some research I'm doing ahead of writing a new feature series all about angling. Over the next few months I am will popping some questions up and your responses will really help.

What I would like to know is:

"If you could offer a new angler one top tip to help them with their fishing - what would it be?"..

I need a minimum of 100 responses to validate the research so please help me out!

Start off with general coarse fishing and avoid jumping straight in to carp fishing. You will get a far better understanding of basic angling skills by fishing for all species than you will by limiting your experiences to only one style.

Don't tell anyone your top tips
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Always start a session by using single baits. You can put more in, but it's a lot more difficult to take it out.

Other than starting with double maggot under a waggler, I'd agree with Mr Frosty
