20 Dinton strain going in, plus 6 VS fisheries, then a small assortment of Suttons, Dinks, a couple of different strain Leney's too, a mixed bag picked for their individuality and looks.

Its not actually a ghosty or even blind, its a pretty rare fish known either as a glass carp or a blusher, they are thrown up every now and again when siblings breed with each other, a little odd, but very pretty, I'm hoping to get my hands on a leather and a common too from different suppliers, not sure what they will look like but they will be interesting, a lot more interesting than any simmo.
That's why I asked fella. From inbreeding. Our lake a had a load of these 'mouve' fish as we called them. Slight purple tinge to the face and the muscles behind the fins are purple too. Unique
Most of them are supposed to die young, but some once they get to that size seem fine.

How many are you stocking over all Coops?
If you lend someone 20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

coops - simply breathtaking some of them,

seeing them you must be so excited, try and document it all if you can on video - be nice in ten years time you can do "ten years of" and show it from start to end, I know your documenting it in one of the mags but just a thought
"wicked..... well chuffed with this one....."

there are 75 fish planned for 8.5 acres, with a view to getting the lake next door in the future, and splitting the stock between the two lakes, time will tell if i can add the other lake to the ticket....

It will be 4 or 5 years before these fish are targets for the head hunters, but you would never be unhappy catching fish that look like these ones, no matter how big they are.

you never know for sure whats in a lake until its being fished properly, there are rumours of a few carp already being in the lake, but then also on the flip side, plenty of people have looked and not seen anything.
