Default My Posts aren't appearing: NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ!

When you first register, the first five posts you make will NOT appear until a site moderator approves them. The reasoning behind this is-

1 It stops spambots and automatically generated accounts clogging the forum
2 It allows us to make sure that new members will make a sensible and valuable contribution

    - this makes the site much more user friendly for members!

As soon as a mod can check them, which will of course vary at times.

There has been a few post put up asking to buy and trying to sell items from new users, these wil be deleted and will not count towards your post count. To buy and sell on this forum you will need to have made 50 sensible posts.

I have made quite a few posts and according to the advance search option on my user name nothing has been posted, what am I doing wrong that results in the Mods not allowing any of my posts on the forum.

Thanks for some feedback on why I am being blocked from posting.

Please bear in mind Mods are only part time volunteers and may not immediately see your posts - until they approve them, they won't show to anyone not a mod. However, your post count says 7 now, so allshould be fine.

Very simple - until you have a post count of 5, your posts will stay invisible until approved by a mod. As soon as they are approved, they appear. Once your post count is 5 or more, they appear as soon as posted.

We do miss the odd one, apologies for that.

I am glad I found this thread...

I am a member of a few fishing Forums and this one seems really good. The fact that my posts haven't yet appeared nearly made me give up and go off to another forum...

Hi, same here, days before any posts show up, then my post can be pointless.

    Cheers Bob

ps can see point, needing 50 posts to sell on forum. But 50 to buy (seller not going to send till paid), so nowhere near as risky..
    Just my opinion thou.
Member of a few fishing forums, could be years before i can buy off any members (mainly a reader, than a poster), Sellers certainly missing out on my money & shifting there items.

In truth I have no idea how many posts I have made now but it's all rather off putting - hope this post tips me over the edge :-)
