Have you used it? I was thinking for pellets in summer and adding to stick mixes etc?

i used it last year in a base mix instead of salmon oil and had some very good results and i added it to my stick mixes the only down side is the price

i think you can get it in bulk from petfood suppliers, they give it to horses as a food supplement

Try making your own boily hookbaits with cod liver oil capsules in them. Great as single hook baits. Need to put bait onto hair with a needle to pierce the capsule, rather than flossing the bait to the hook. I did an experiment on a local high stock water a few years ago - these baits outfished "normal" baits by 3 to 1.

I used about 15litres of the stuff last year during a baiting campaign and i really feel it gave me the edge, Granted can give your spot away as it can quite easily flat an area of water larger than an acre but i do feel it pulled the fish in on the wind and down into the weed. I fished 7ft of water with canadian weed present top to bottom, within 2 weeks there was an area the size of a snooker table clean as a whistle. Funnily enough obo is who i buy my sweet mollases and oil off. Oh one more good feature of using it is if you mix in Vitalin with your spod mix etc it absorbes the oil so when the fish turn up and start feeding they disturb the oil from the vitalin and you will suddenly be sat with a huge flat spot over you area indicating the fish have arrived http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Its worth trying the old peanut oil from ya local supermarket too, cheap as chips and leaves you smelling slightly better than cod liver oil http://www.cemexangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif
