I might hang them up for the three months this year.

For the first time in ages I have joined a syndicate that enforces a close season and am looking forward to baiting and observing and the buzz of getting down there a couple of days early waiting for midnightish on the 16th.

I doubt I'll have the will power not to go though, maybe a few day ticket waters to put a bend in.

I'll be fishing on the Lea for the Barbel and relief for carp until March 14th then back to Abbotts for a final week. But once the close season starts then its of up to Norfolk for some more 30+ commons, and meet up with some old faces.

Jim is there any chance you'll be back at waveney??

Me too can't wait for Drayton, and that new water buzz going on.
Got to put some more time in over Bedford though 'STAR' is calling,(if it hasn't been washed away in the floods)going this Friday for four days. If it's not frozen, wish me luck!!!
