Alright chaps

My little boy has been gaging to get out fishing now the weather's a bit better. http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
The river we normally go to is down at the moment, so I said we'd go down the canal...
Thing is, I can't sit there for four or five hours pulling in little Roach and Perch...it would do me head in http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Now, I could handle a few little carp so was thinking of taking the rods down and having a go while the little'un has his bit of fun.
Does anyone know if the strecth of canal along-side Batchworth lake (aquadrome) holds any carp.

Any help would be great chaps, thanks in advance.
