View Full Version : what gear do you take for stalking?

hi all
this year i am going to pick up stalking alot more for big carp and wandered what gear you take when you go stalking? obviously the smallest amount possible but i want to make sure i only take the essentials.

small tackle box
mat/sling etc
scales
small bucket for bait
camera

got meself a tackle 'belt' last year for about 6 quid......carries all your rig bits etc - dead useful http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

nashy stalker (jungle stick)
shimano reel
a small box of bits and bobs
landing (I still take a fox 42" stalking)
crusty loaf,pot of worms and some sweetcorn
unhooking mat which doubles as my seat until both sides wet

i always have a small bag in the car as well
with spare essentials
eg a few leads controllers baiting needles etc
