just wondering how sandhurst is fishing at the moment as i am going the first weekend of july for the first time.
any advice on the venue would be great

it's been pretty slow down there for the last few weeks - odd fish coming but no-one seems to be catching consistently.....as for advice it's worth searching through the forum - but single hookbaits and light scatterings of bait are proving as effective as anything else - fishing over spodded particle (rather than pellet) was accounting for a few fish so that might be worth a go - more fish coming out the far end of late....good luck.... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/cool.gif

cheers funky, by far end of the lake do you mean from the carpark on the main road, not the one between the other lakes and sandhurst?

i assume you're fishing as part of the match on there....I may be around on the sunday - but will almost certainly be fishing at fox pool for the rest of the weekend ! http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif

in a match - i'd be looking to get on the car park (4), 8, 11, 15, island (26/27 - 26 did a 34+ this morning incidentally), the pipes (31) and the secret (1) if the weather is hot....the secret produced 10 fish for me in 24 hours when the weather was decent, and that was on a busy saturday......so pretty similar to match conditions....
