Good evening,

After many years of using a certain bait i am feeling a change is coming... Sticky baits is a company i like the sound of, but im not paying 11.99 a kilo! Does anyone know where it can be picked up cheaper or by going direct to sticky baits with a 100kg order will that get it down drastically to say 6.00 a kg??? Have emailed them but no response yet...

Any advice much appreciated... PM if preferred...

Kind regards,

Gary

Sticky don't deal direct and have also just put their prices up - maybe to recoup for the amount one of their consultants uses on a weekly basis...KIR

Is their bait any different from it's first failed attempt? wasn't it Callaghan who started it first?

Wasn't it Callaghan and lee Whittaker that set up sticky baits?

Eric's will do a bulk deal on 20K or more. http://www.britnett-carveradv.co.uk/ericsangling/prods/sticky-bulk-deals.html

Kent Tackle also do the same price for 10K on ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sticky-Baits-NEW-VOR-TEX-SHELF-LIFE-Boilies-12mm-16mm-or-20mm-10KG-DEAL-/181108184408?pt=UK_SportingGoods_FishingAcces_RL&var=&hash=item2a2ae39558

I've just got in from the lake, I was talking to a mate and he had a at a guess 5kg bag of sticky krill, I asked him what he was paying for it, expecting 8 or 9 quid a kg, he said 5.50 as he does promo for them. I said any amount you want?? he replied yeah. I was pretty surprised.

Logged on and just found this thread.

Pretty sure sticky do a deal where orders over 20 kg are done at 750 a kilo? Best bet is to give them a ring bud!

No surprise when it's a quid more per kilo.

Eric's don't own Sticky, as such.

I think the first time it came about it was early 2000's if I'm correct? Didn't hear about them for years until Shelley started plugging it around 2009

Dear oh dear....so you help promote a company and they "give" it to you at half price! Some people let themselves get well and truly shafted, just so they can claim to be a "tester" or consultant.

I see what you mean Jason, I guess the only thing these guys get is new baits before the general public.

They dont even get free clothing

Seems odd wanting a bait that is expensive, why not try ABS at 7 a kilo that is of course if you've not already been there and just like playing around with different bait.

Yeah so why want a bait that's overly priced as it ain't no better.

Sorry speaking gibberish let me better explain myself.

Why would someone want to buy a bait that's 12 a kilo when you can get equally good bait at 7 a kilo.

Further more there are lots of bait companies in the UK so why choose one that's been in the mags and charges 12. I appreciate that the charges are high because of the dealer network and possibly advertising and the big plus is they are convenient.

I'm sure a lot of the non advertised companies provide a good quality bait at the more manageable rate of 6/7 a kilo.

Anyway to the OP I hope you do manage to get the bait you want for the more sensible price of 7 a kilo.
