View Full Version : weils question

I have just got some of the new liquid spray on plasters from the chemist ; it says that it is waterproof so I'm just wondering does anyone know : is it an adequate protection against weils.I am paranoid about this and cannot seem to find a plaster that stays on for any length of time so this would be a god send.
I did ask the lady in the chemists but she did not know.I have a small cut at the moment and have put on several applications but because it goes clear it's hard to tell really.

How about the new Dr Weils hand sanitizer.

I've not heard of that, Ginster ; is it available from high street chemists?

Drweils.co.uk or tackle box, Johnson Ross etc

think it's about 4.99 for a spray that holds 600 applications. Proven to kill Weils disease.

should add no connection to company just thinking about purchasing myself when I saw this thread

Handy stuff to have in the rucksack ( handy..geddit ? see what I did there ) but would not protect an open wound I'm guessing.

If you had an open wound (Obviously only a minor one), I'd use NEW SKIN (http://m.boots.com/mt/www.boots.com/en/Germolene-New-Skin-20ml-1-bottle_862956/) after using the DrWeils.

Have you got a link, or a name for the range of plasters?

I'm guessing that it will be Elastoplast Extra Tough (http://www.elastoplast.co.uk/Products/wound-care/extra-tough).

Might have to have a look at them.
