I remember doing a rota round there one day, Brian gave me his marker rod and told me to flick it out 5-10 yds out to the right (of a swim nr the palace) he said and I quote 'Feel the bottom there, its clean as *&%^ I've stuck 40 kg of hemp and pellet in over the last few days' I wasn't surprised when everyone had said that the swans were demolishing his bait in approx 2 1/2 ft of water. One good way to clear the stuff LOL.

a little note to add. Ruth, we love you.

Everyone is plateau crazy with their boats, I did a night in the spring where 3 anglers boated to the plateau from the island, palace and pipe. None of them put a marker to it (because they couldn't). The funny thing is that Gary had a marker on it and was readying himself to cast to it at the time.

Anyway, the margins are for people like fudgey LOL, or Matty (only has 40 yds of line per reel LOL)
