Just a very quick post !!

Had weekend just gone on South Lake, first timers on the lake, was up in Brambles swim, had a 12lb common first night nothign for rest of weekend apart small perch on float down the side. my bro took a cracking 20lb mirror from the Last Post swim opposite the Brambles swim, both fish fell to pop up maize in margins !!

A word about the bailiffs if the chap who spoke to us will own up he was wearing the cammo gear and walked round a few times, this bloke was a font of information. if only all bailiffs were the same, he was a top geezer, and already plannign another weekend down there.

just a quick word, there was a few big fish caught that weekend including a thirty from the car park swim and a smattering of 20's from around the lake.

Top Lake, will be back for a 20 very soon

Cheers again

Ey up our Kid!

We did have a good crack up there the weekend! The 20 I had was a cracking looking fish! I think we were in the unfancied area of the lake, Last Post, Brambles & Pads but cant beat the place! We will be back to get our string pulled asap!

I ALSO MUST AGREE WITH U ABOUT MALCOLM THE BEST BAILIFF IVE COME ACROSS. I STARTED FISHING SOUTHLAKE DURING THE WINTER WHEN THE FISHING WAS HARD, HE WAS ROUND TO MY SWIM/SWIMS REGURLY TO TRY AND HELP ME CATCH, SADLY ALL I MANAGED WAS TO LOSE ONE, BUT I AM NOW FULL OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE LAKE, AND I WILL HAVE TO RETURN NOW THE CARP HAVE WOKEN UP. IF ANYONE DOUBTS THE INFOMATION MALCOM IS GIVING YOU, JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE STUNNING BURGHFIELD COMMON PICTURED IN THE RMC GUIDE BOOK AT 45LB + , WHAT A FISH, WHAT A CARPANGLER, WHAT A BAILIFF.

I HOPE TO BE DOWN SOUTH THE WEEK AFTER NEXT SEE EVERYBODY THERE.
