evening all !!

if the carp fishing is proving somewhat worthless, are there any species worth fishign for on the float down the side, i.e crucians etc.... i understand there are some whopping great big tench in there, which on a float rod would be quite nice !!

is there anything else????

you advice as always is greatly appreciated

Not forgetting to mention it's the South Lake you're on about again.... http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif http://www.rmcangling.co.uk/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good perch & tench.....and usual species found in gravel pits. As it's day ticket for carp...these other species are untapped and mostly unfished for......

Used to fish it for the tench....lovely dark beauties......days before it went day ticket.
