As above mate, on the cobham court ticket. Fished it a few times with a mate, had a fair few out. Nothing big though. Gets quite weedy during the summer, and the water is both deep and very clear. Pukka looking lake tho, got some mad snags in places, huge boulders and oil drums littering the bottom. Didnt fish it for too long in fairness, maybe there are one or two decent ones out there. The majority we caught were small mirrors scraping double figures with the occasional double common.

Lived next to it just after the houses were built around it. Was free then. Very deep as I saw it before it became 'full' of water. There is/was a roadway down to the bottom running around the edge where it was full of dead trees with only 2-3 swims.

Bet it changed since then - 1976!

many of my students fish it on the sly and catch plenty of carp from it.

cheers for the replys, looks lovely and the house i went to has the garden gently sloping down towards the margins...the owner said there 'was huge carp in there this big'(with exaggerated hand movement for effect) does look nice might have a little dabble myself.the clubs website is not very informative though,no info on it at all!

Walked round many a time, lovely looking lake and dead clear, I think the Police used to use it for trainning divers.
From memory most were put off by no nights and 1 rod only although dont know if this is still the case.

its 30 metres deep in the middle mate, according to the bailiff, thats pretty amazing for a lake you could almost cast over (well almost). apparently buildings and stuff at the bottom , where the brickworks buildings were flooded. I,ve not fished it but have had a few sneaky looks round it. Seen carp to low doubles but nothing bigger.
