Hi Everyone,

I am looking to buy a DSLR Camera as i have only ever used a point and shoot. I would like to take nature shots, sunrises, fish pictures (hopefully) lol Will be used for fishing. mainly scenery very very little macro. Something for me to learn with.

Havnt got a lot of money, so going to have to be ebay, i have seen the a100 on there as recommended on here, but looking for something under 100 if poss. I know its a tall order and maybe i will not get too much for my money but any info or tips very much appreciated. maybe when i am in a better financial position will be able to upgrade too a better one, and learnt a bit to be able to justify it. must be a good dslr a few years old for that money?

You'd be incredibly lucky to get a D40 or a A100 body let alone a lens bundled for 100!

See my D5000 post below, lots of info on different camera's as a first DSLR. As for 100, i agree with Shrop, it ant gonna happen

Ive plumped for a A300, it cost em 300 second hand though. You may be able to get something for 200 if you are lucky???

Yup, you might get a D40 with a basic 18-55mm for around 200

The low end Alphas are superb mate, especially the new generation ones; 230, 380 etc.
