Hi guys,

I currently use a fuji finepix s9500 camera and have been using a bulb release with great success for self takes but the bloody thing has broken and im finding it really hard to pick one up from anywhere. I bought a timer remote control of ebay after a couple of friends of mine down the lake showed me how good they were. Well heres the problem the thing wont fire on interval. I can take pictures with it via manual use but this is not what i need it for. I have followed the instructions and even took it into jessops for theeir guy to have a look at but he couldnt get it working. I have attatched a link to the item. If anybody knows how to get these things working please pm me

You might find that the wire coming out of the top of the hand unit has been damaged by being bent. Try wiggling it around or bending it gently whilst trying to take a remote shot. Mine had this problem and i had a friend repair the split wire for me and it works fine now. Worth a go.

Thanks mate. Did you have to set the camera to a particular mode?

I dont think so mate, just try it on a manual setting and then an auto setting to be sure.

I got a new air release the other day chap if you give up on the remote, if you google Firstcall air release you'll find it. Well recommended :)
