View Full Version : Stop climbing over the Bloo.d.y fence....

Will anglers using the Sandhurst fishery please note that RMC has put a GATE in to use for access...

The FENCE is not there to be climbed over, meet your sweetheart over, drop tackle off over or used as a shortcut...

If you want to pop down the shop - USE THE GATE TO GO IN AND OUT OF - its bad enough that the fence is low enough for the local deliquents / dog walkers to abuse, without you lot setting a pis.s poor example to them all....

The road running into the business estate is not to be used by anglers on Sandhurst... especially not parking it at the end of the non-fishing bank and dumping all your tackle over the fence because it is raining and you cannot be arsed to walk - its is only 250 paces from the car park to swim 31 - so stop taking the PI55...

Whilst we're having a gripe - Cars are NOT to be parked on swims - how stupid are you doing that - especially a ford transit van reversed down into 16 - (steep bank, only recently bedded in road and heavy rain - how it stayed out of the water I will never know..) and that's not taking into account the guy who drove off the front of the car park swim 3 and had to be towed out again..

Oh, and until we get a sign replaced, can I remind you all that the long grassy bank to the right of the fishery as you stand in the first car park, between Swims 1 & 31, is a NON-FISHING bank.... there is one sign in the middle of it, that does not mean you can set up a brolly & fish either side of the sign.. and yes, someone tried on Saturday, before you ask..

Last thing... Litter... If you can manage to bag it all up, and carry it to the car park.. why then throw it in the bushes???? leaving on the swim is bad enough, but you've made the effort to put it in a bag and carry it to your car, so why not put it IN your car, instead of lobbing it over the back?

Oh, and top marks for persistance to the three guys sitting it out today..... Matey on swim 12 - good luck in Canada...
