We are about to take delivery of a Lewis Hamilton signed Santander Shirt, donated by a Firefighter from Yorkshire Fire Service.

I would have waited till it actualy arrived before posting on here as they have a habit of not quite making it to the end lol...

That is a great prize or auction item the wider the exposure you can get on it the bigger the amount raised surely get people aware of it on somewhere like facebook and the like then auction it on ebay perhaps evryone on here spread the word far and wide that this item is in the hands of Stoney and Freinds.....

Bankers, phooey, Remember it's our money thats bailing then out of trouble at the moment :p

If it's a bidding war lets up the anti... Printers bid at £200 :)

But that is if it is the way this is going to be done as there is no official word from His Royal Highness Princess Stone on the matter.

morning Jim. 250 ;)

Thanks guys for all your bids, but as Chef says, let us get our grubby mitts on said item first, then we will see about an auction or whatever means of raising the money.

Will be hanging on to it for at least a fortnight, so we will see if we have a World Champions Shirt. :), and will give us a chance to get written proof of its authenticity.

mark boyle
24-10-2008, 07:32
i would imagine a raffle would be a better way to get the money in that way it's open to everyone and you can purchace as many tickets as you like as there are only going to be a couple of plonkers on here willing to bid this up but all that said im still willing to be plonker no.1

still it's in the hands of Princess Stone ;)

Wouldnt say him winning the title would increase a signed shirt to be honest.

If it was what he had on yesterday then yes defo.

Any news on what your doing with this yet Stoney?

Why do we call people that invest all our money into stocks and shares "brokers", is this due to them making all us that use there services broke. :)

We have decided to offer the shirt to Macmillan Cancer Support "Special Events Team" as they have a large function at Grosvenor Square with an end of evening auction of
"things that money cannot buy" and this would be the best way to offer the item.

Excellent idea Stoney... would you do me (us) the honour of letting me (us) know how much it fetched in the end. Been watching this with interest to see how that one small shirt has now become something of serious interest.

Thanks

Ian

Yes of course we will be more than happy to let everyone know what becomes of the shirt.

On another plus side, we have now made contact with the lady who deals with these sort of items, so hopefully if we get our grubby mitts on any other sort after items, we know who to contact.

Days fishing with TSO
